LANSING, Mich, (WLNS) — Local power companies are showing thousands of households without power after a line of severe thunderstorms pushed though mid-Michigan Sunday evening.

The Lansing Board of Water and Light also has reports of sporadic outages in the city.

Do not touch any lines on the ground. They could me live electrical lines. If you have lines down across your property or road, call the non-emergency line for your community. If the wire is producing sparks or is smoking call 9-1-1.
