Mandurah’s King Carnival Ferris wheel is on the road

The auctioned items of King’s Carnival are making their way to new homes much like Mandurah’s iconic Ferris Wheel.

Bought by Aus Rides and Amusements owner Andrew Quay, the 70-year-old amusement ride was pulled apart and packed up over the course of three hours to get on the road for Victoria.

Mr Quay said it takes three people to assist in deconstructing the 58 foot item and the laborious process will need to be repeated every time the Ferris Wheel visits different events around the east coast and Northern Territory.
