A man has been charged with murdering a man who was found dead inside a southwest Sydney home.
Emergency services were called to a property on Lakemba St in Belmore after a triple-0 call for a welfare check at about 9pm on Saturday.
Officers found the body of a 34-year-old man with “a number of stab wounds” inside, according to a statement from NSW Police.

A crime scene was established and several items were seized by police, with authorities attached to Campsie Police and homicide squad launching an investigation under Strike Force Sandilands.
After authorities located the man’s body, a 24-year-old man was taken to Concord Hospital for assessment and was later released without charge.
A 21-year-old man was then arrested at the Bansktown police station at about 11.30am on Monday. He has since been charged with murder.
The man was refused bail and will appear at Bankstown Local Court on Tuesday.
