Lotto: Aussie claims whopping $10 million in Thursday Powerball

One fortunate Aussie may never work again after claiming a whopping $10 million division one win in Thursday night’s Powerball draw.

The winner resides outside of Western Australia.

While the singular lucky ticket will yield a life-changing result for its owner, across the nation there were no division two winners crowned.

However, in WA, six local players did manage to score division three wins and will each pocket a handy $16,939.30.

The winning numbers for Thursday’s Powerball Draw #1504 were 11, 6, 5, 7, 30, 4, 19, and the Powerball is 20.

Although WA players came up short on the grand prize, a ticket sold at Nollamara IGA earlier in the week resulted in a $1 million win in Wednesday’s Millionaire Medley draw.

Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the winner was yet to come forward immediately following the draw.

“It was only a week ago I was speaking to a Millionaire Medley winner from Serpentine-Jarrahdale in our Winner’s Room, and now we’re eagerly waiting for our Nollamara winner,” he said.

“This win has taken our Division One winner’s tally to 15 for the year, with these players sharing in more than $15 million.”
