Jelly Roll’s daughter Bailee Ann is marking a major milestone.
On Sunday, April 13, Bunnie Xo shared a video via her social media of her and the “All My Life” singer, 40, helping the 16-year-old get ready for her first prom. “Hello friends! Guess who’s going to prom tonight!” the podcaster, 44, said at the beginning of the video.
The proud stepmom of two documented the next few hours as they did Bailee’s hair, makeup and got her dressed for the big night. When she was all ready in her bright yellow dress and the family was taking pictures outside, Bunnie inserted a clip of Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, tearing up while looking at his little girl.
At the end of the video, Bunnie watched as Bailee and her prom date walked out the door, before saying, “We did it. We did it guys. We made prom happen.”

In March, the podcaster, whose real name is Alyssa DeFord, shared a video on TikTok revealing how she, her stepdaughter’s boyfriend, his mother and their family, all helped set up for the 16-year-old’s promposal with balloons and rose petals.
“What’s up guys. So today is Bailee’s promposal, and I’m gonna bring you along for it. So come with us, baby!” Bunnie said at the beginning of the video.
The team set up balloons that spelled out “prom” and placed roses on the floor to set the tone for it all. They also played a song from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in the background as she walked in and greeted her boyfriend.

Later, Bailee Ann uploaded the actual promposal video on her personal TikTok account, where she included her reaction to all of their efforts to make the occasion special. The video began with her outside of their house, twirling around in her new dress with the text “he asked me to prom and I asked if I could say no,” over the video.

Eventually, she walked in and said yes to going to prom with him, kissing him on the cheek and noting that the sign he made was “so cute.”
Bunnie and Jelly Roll eloped in 2016 and were granted primary custody of Bailee Ann. Their family of three also grew that year with the addition of Jelly Roll’s son, Noah Buddy, from a previous relationship.
