Nazik Elomari, a lieutenant with the El Paso police, was arrested on Tuesday, May 6, for DWI. He utilized Fast Track Booking, which allows individuals to be processed, booked, and bonded out of jail quickly, sometimes in as little as 45 minutes. Elomari was released the same day on a $3,500 surety bond, according to jail records.
The El Paso Times confirmed with police that Elomari is employed as a lieutenant. No other details were provided.
