Drake: Speculation mounts for unconfirmed supporting act and guests on The Anita Max Win Perth tour

Canadian rapper Drake is due to take the stage at RAC Arena over two nights this week but his supporting act is yet to be announced — that is if the artist has plans to have a fellow rapper join him.

The 38-year-old superstar will stop in cities around Australia this month but is so far performing his Anita Max Win tour without an opening act.

He will play for Perth fans on Tuesday and Wednesday night with shows yet to be sold out.

However, Drake is known for bringing out surprise guests at his shows with the rumour mill churning out a list of possible names according to the publication Tone Deaf.

Names fans are throwing around:

Gordo: A producer who has worked with Drake on songs like Sideways and Healing.

Smiley: An October’s Very Own (an independent record label founded by Drake in 2012) rapper who Drake has credited as an influence on his 2018 album Scorpion.

4KARII: An artist that Drake has hyped up online.

Lil Wayne: A rapper who some fans believe could make an appearance as he’s been a regular guest on Drake’s recent North American shows.

Lil Wayne’s own tour not kicking off until late February and during a recent interview he said he would be “out of the country” during the Superbowl which takes place next Monday.
