Aaron Goodwin’s Estranged Wife Victoria Pleads Guilty to Conspiring His Murder

Victoria Goodwin has accepted a plea deal for her involvement in plotting her estranged husband Aaron Goodwin’s murder.

The 32-year-old pleaded guilty to conspiracy in a Las Vegas courtroom, according to Clark County District Court records reviewed by PEOPLE on Tuesday, April 15. According to the records, Victoria entered the guilty plea on Saturday, April 12, and filed documents on Monday, April 14.

As part of her arrangement, the estranged wife of the Ghost Adventures star, 49, will plead guilty to one felony count of conspiracy to commit murder and will face a minimum sentence of two to 10 years in prison, court documents revealed.

She could also be fined up to $5,000.

Victoria was previously taken into custody on March 6 on charges of soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder.

She allegedly began a relationship with convicted murderer Grant Amato in March 2024, after seeing him in the Paramount+ true crime docuseries, Ctrl + Alt + Desire, per a police report.

Amato, 35, shot and killed his father Chad, mother Margaret and brother Cody after stealing $200,000 from his family to fuel his online addiction to a webcam model named Silvie, whom he met through a pornographic website and became infatuated with.

He was sentenced to three lifelong prison terms without the possibility of parole.

After Victoria and Amato met, she allegedly conspired to kill Aaron with her new lover’s help — allegedly going as far as discussing payments for his murder.

Their alleged plans were discovered when a phone Amato had been communicating with Victoria on was confiscated by prison security guards.

According to a police report, text messages between the two discussed “how much they are in love,” but Victoria told Amato that Aaron “would not accept divorce.”

She and the television star had been married since August 2022.

Once news of Victoria’s alleged murder-for-hire plan with Amato went public, Aaron filed for divorce on March 12.

In his complaint, Aaron said his reason for filing for divorce was that “the views, tastes, likes and dislikes” of himself and his estranged wife have become “incompatible to the extent that it has become impossible for them to live together as husband and wife in marital harmony.”

“There is no possibility of reconciliation between husband and wife,” the complaint read.

Aaron later thanked his fans for their continued support under his circumstances.

“Thank you everyone for all the love and support through this emotionally trying time. It has really helped a lot and I appreciate you all,” Aaron wrote in a March 22 Instagram post.

Victoria is scheduled to appear at an arraignment hearing on April 22, where she will enter her plea, KSNV reported.
