Perth fans chasing a party on Friday night might still have a chance to see iconic DJ Fatboy Slim live at Langley Park, as tickets to the British producer’s Australian tour launch remain up for grabs.
While the chance of scoring Front General Admission Standing tickets is slim to none, ravers are still offered valuable Perth CBD real estate perched on the General Admission Lawn area (at the time of writing).
GA standing tickets were billed at $172.80, with lawn admission priced at $142.80.
Known for timeless hits including Right Here, Right Now, Praise You, and Weapon of Choice, the Englishman — who goes by Norman Cook — is renowned for his big beat energy and transcendent sounds.

At 61, the party gent is not quite ready to slow down.
“At my age, I don’t take it for granted that I’ll be doing this forever so it’s like I’ve got to cram as much into whatever time I have left to do it,” he told The West Australian earlier this year.
Noting a “wildness” among Perth fans, the performer sees similarities between local music lovers and those closer to home in the UK.
“It’s a beautiful country, I feel an affinity with Australians and we have a lot of fun together, we have the same sense of humour and because I’ve been there so many times over the years everyone knows me,” he said.
“It’s always a joyous trip and a very warm welcome.
“I’ve always thought WA is kind of the Australian extreme, there’s a particular wildness about the Perth.”

A fan of fellow English producer Fred again.. who took over Langley Park almost exactly one year ago, the elder statesman is excited to launch his Aussie tour in WA, albeit with less fancy buttons than his younger counterpart.
“You can’t teach an old dog new tricks,” he said.
Fatboy Slim will perform in Perth on Friday night supported by Jennifer Loveless, CC:Disco, and DJ Seinfeld.
He will back it up with a show at NSW’s Centennial Vineyards on Saturday, followed by Sydney on March 18, the Barossa Valley on March 21, Geelong on March 22, and QLD’s Mount Cotton on March 23.
